The Cultural Centre of India presents workshops on topics such as art, music, dance, architecture, multiculturalism, business practices, history, religion, language arts, geography and more. We bring you years of experience and knowledge and present a workshop that fits the needs of your organization.
Padma Chebrolu designed these workshops to create and present realistic glimpses of India's culture. She grew up in India and worked for All India Radio and Doordarshan (India's premier TV Channel). She works as an expert consultant for various corporations, art organizations and academic institutions. Her expertise and enthusiasm create powerful interactive workshops. She works as a Systems Manager at a major global corporation.
Padma Chebrolu's background in education (Masters in Education from USA), business (Masters in Business Administration from USA) and degree in Bharata Natyam (Degree in Classical Dance Style, India) and her professional experience enhances presentations to address current cultural trends.
Padma Chebrolu is on the board of Ohio Dance since 2003 which is supported by Ohio Arts Council, a state agency that supports public programs in the arts. She is the recipient of following awards: 2007 Dada Rafiki, 2007 The Davey Award, 2007 & 2006 Blue Chip Award, 2007 Telly Award, & 2005 Diversity Award.
Padma is the Founder and Executive Director of the non-profit organization, World Cultures Media which brings media programming dedicated to providing the global community with unique and honest perspectives.
Padma writes extensively on current cultural trends in India and on Indian communities living abroad.
